In revenge for my bleeding sunshine upon him the other day, Adri has decided to return fire, and continued the nonsensical chain letter of blog awards by giving me this one. *ahem* So, to make this one work I need to tell six lies about myself and one truth. Spiderman Diarrhea and Other Things I Wish I Hadn’t Heard…

I took today off from work, simply because I needed a bit of a mental health day. I’ve got a very full plate these days, and part of that was compounded by the fact that I had to watch my younger cousin all weekend. (And Lucy was up half the night last night, and a crazy ass windstorm kept us up for the other half. Lots of waking up and wondering if the remainder of our gazebo had just blown off the deck.) Babysitting should have been fine because both my kids adore her, but with an odd-number of children and varying ages (3, 6 and 11) there was a lot of 3rd wheel action going on. Putting on My Patience Pants

It’s funny, but when I started this blog last year (think it was in February), I didn’t really think too much about what I was going to write about. Or even how frequently I was going to write. Or that anyone would really read it, honestly. As it stands now, I try to blog every day. I’ve got a certain number of loyal followers who check it every day, or every couple of days, at least. I have people who leave comments. It’s sort of mind-boggling (and cool, too). Not entirely sure why. I mean, sure – I’m working towards that goal of getting pubbed, so it would make sense that I’d get visitors who are also working towards that. After all, writing n00bs are n00bs for a reason, and there’s a certain safety in numbers. And a healthy sort of cynicism, too. If nothing else, we can learn from each… Read more
